Plastic Bearings

May 11, 2006
Iglide plastic bearings come in sleeve, flange, and thrust-washer styles and are a cost-effective alternative to metal or ball bearings because they do not corrode and dampen vibration.

The maintenance-free and lubricationfree bearings are long lasting and resist UV and chemical attack. The bearings are available in 20 highperformance material blends. Iglide J bearings have low friction for applications such as pick-and-place robots, pneumatics, and bicycles. Iglide H370 bearings are designed for wet and high-temperature environments such as in the marine industry, while Iglide Z510 bearings handle extreme loads.
