Combo Optical Sensor And Valve

Nov. 17, 2005
The OSV is an economical alternative to expensive, high-maintenance components for pneumatic accumulation zones.

Designed specifically for sensing objects moving along conveyors, the OSV incorporates solid-state electronics and a low-watt solenoid valve to reliably control a pneumatic actuator. The OSV detects a variety of materials at distances to 6 ft. It is cascadable up to 100 units and a modular design simplifies replacement. Additional features include multicolor LEDs for status and diagnostics, a self-aligning beam, adjustablevalve time delay, various wire lengths, and optional sensitivity adjustment.
