The module connects the DL-405 CPU and the 1 bases at 10 or 100-Mbps data rates using MODBus TCP/IP client/server protocols as well as standard IP and IPX protocols. The module can actively issue MODBus commands to other nodes or respond to connected MODBus TCP/IP clients. The H4-ECOM100 may also serve as an e-mail client to send specified messages to email addresses. The module ships with NetEdit3 software for configuration of PLC-to-PLC parameters and to display all identifiers and troubleshooting information for each module on the network.
