New Product: High-Pressure Piston Seal

July 10, 2008
The HDP 330 high-pressure two-part seal set consists of a polyamide (PA) slide ring for sealing and an elastomeric energizing element that produces preload.

The seal is designed to withstand pressure up to 800 bar without extruding.

The sliding element consists of a fiberglass-filled modified polyamide. The energizer or contact-pressure element is made from nitrile-rubber NBR. High-temperature, elastomer material HNBR energizers are also available.

The seal is interchangeable with O-ring energized seals. Its rectangular contact-pressure element produces high preloading force and offers high protection against twisting in the housing.
