Mini DC Drives

Oct. 7, 2004
With an 8-mm-diameter OD, this new family of mini drives provides maxi power when used in combination with DC-Micromotors, with precision gearheads and micro-encoders.

The DCMicromotor Series 0816 ... S is available in 3, 6, and 8-V versions that have a no-speed load up to 17,100 rpm, stall torque of 0.41 mNm, and output power of 0.18 W. Three all-metal precision gearheads are available. The 08/1 Series planetary gearhead has maximum drive torque of 60 mNm in continuous operation and 120 mNm in intermittent operations. The 08/2 and 08/3 Series spur gearheads come in two versions. The 08/3 has zero backlash and is suitable for positioning-control applications. Available microencoders are the 05A and 05AB Series, which are mounted on the motor.
