Degradable Bubble Wrap

Nov. 4, 2004
Cor-Pak VpCI Bubble Bio is 100% degradable, yet retains all the key properties of bubble wrap.

The wrap incorporates a patented Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibition (VpCI) technology that provides clean anticorrosion protection to components with metal parts. Once a package is sealed, the contents are protected for up to one year. VpCI leaves no residue or chemicals to remove later so components can be unwrapped and used immediately. When a component with metal parts is wrapped with Cor-Pak, the protective vapor saturates the enclosed air space in a few hours, migrates to all exposed metal parts, and attaches to the metal to form a thin, microprotective layer. The wrap does not affect optical properties or plastics used in electronics. It can be used on ferrous and nonferrous metals including steel, aluminum, copper, silver, brass, and stainless steel.
