The AS3990 UHF RFID “Simply Gen2” Reader Chip is said to have the industry’s lowest power consumption and bill of materials (BOM).
The single-chip reader includes a Gen 2 protocol engine for fast time to market and an integrated power amplifier that can further reduce the BOM is available. The device’s 32 registers permit full RF filtering and protocol control. Available in QFN 64 9 9-mm packaging, the reader is specified for 0 to 70ºC.
