Software Simulates An Entire Factory

Sept. 1, 2005
Quest Advanced software provides a complete 3D-digital-factory for flow-simulation and analysis.

Intelligent search algorithms in Delmia's Quest Advanced software automate finding optimal manufacturing flows in factories.

It lets users identify bottlenecks and optimize labor and production schedules. In addition, they can experiment with facility layout, resource allocation, and kaizen practices. This lets product teams quantify the impact of their decisions on production throughput and cost and eliminates "trial-and-error" approaches. It integrates with other Delmia planning and simulation tools.
