Rotary Actuators

June 2, 2005
SRU rotary actuators employ piston guidance sleeves in a lightweight-aluminum housing.

The radial-clamped, endstop adjustments permit easy access and fully adjustable rotation angles from 0 to 180°. The housing has mounting patterns on both the bottom and side for easy implementation. An internal mechanical-ball locking mechanism provides rigid center-position locking and dampening as at the end positions. A standard hydraulic shock absorber gives smooth, fast, and accurate positioning.

Bore size ranges from 20 to 60-mm diameter and is available in both single and double-powered versions for torques from 1.5 to 72 N-m. Air feed through, inductive and magnetic position sensing, and flexible center bores round out the package.
