USB-to-Serial Adapter

June 2, 2005
In-line adapter connects older RS-232 serial devices to PCs with USB ports.

Each adapter adds one, two, four, or eight Serial COM ports without the need for card-slots or external power supplies. The USBCOMS Series maintains the full data-control set of a nine-pin serial connection using a DB9M connector. Each port contains a 128-byte transmit buffer and a 384-byte receive buffer and supports data-transfer rates up to 1 Mbps. Units come complete with drivers for Win98/ME/2K/XP. Apple OS-8/9/X and Linux drivers are available.
