Motion-control chips

May 5, 2005
Magellan motion processors feature real-time servo-trace capability that improves servotuning performance, optimizes motion trajectories, and captures time-sensitive data that is stored automatically.

Additional benefits include improved accuracy and system performance and multiaxis/multimotor motion control. The processors support CANbus, parallel and serial communications; dc brush, brushless dc, microstepping, and pulse and direction motors; and S-curve, trapezoidal, velocity contouring, and electronic-gearing profiles. One, two, three, and four-axis versions are available.
