Ball-Screw Positioning Tables

Oct. 7, 2004
The IDC URS-Series Ballscrew Positioning Tables feature a U-shaped steel guide rail, and a recirculating bearing module that provides the dual functions of a guide block and ballscrew nut.

The bearing module contains four preloaded ball circuits to deliver high load capacity, high accuracy, and high rigidity. The rigid U-shaped guide is highly resistant to bending, allowing the URS to be singleend supported for cantilevered applications. The URS integrates the guide rail, precision ball screw, and optional motor and limit-sensor packages, eliminating complex precision adjustment. Designed to be interchangeable with other positioning tables, the URS can be used to upgrade existing equipment or machinery. The URS Series is available in five standard sizes.
