The embedded RoHS-compliant WiPort includes 802.11b/g wireless capabilities, providing serial-to-wireless or Ethernet-to-wireless connection in a compact, integrated hardware and software module.

The unit includes a robust, real-time operating system and full-featured network-protocol stack, and comes prescreened for European radio compliance. The WiPort also includes WPA encryption for heightened security and supports the 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard for secure data transfer.
