Severe-duty motors are designed for applications that demand corrosion protection for long life.

Features of the motor include full cast-iron construction, twopart epoxy paint, Inpro shaft seal on output shaft and Forsheda seal on nondrive end, internal corrosion protection, regreasable bearings, 250 frame and above; stainless-steel nameplate, dual-voltage design, normally closed thermostats, and corrosion-resistant hardware. The motors meet IP55 enclosure protection guidelines.
