High-Torque Servomotors

Aug. 23, 2007
Two high-torque motors offer increased torque for high-power applications such as press feeders, tube benders, and plastic extruders.

The high-performance MaxPlusPlus (MPP) 230 and 270 offer up to 162-Nm continuous-stall torque and 513-Nm peak torque. Standard options on the MPP230 and MPP270 include a resolver and Stegmann single and multiturn absolute encoders. A 24-V brake option and a shaft seal are also available. The motors use neodymium magnets for higher acceleration rates and can be customized with such features as custom output shaft dimensions, various front end-cap mounts, or special windings.
