New Product: High-misalignment couplings

Oct. 11, 2007
Oldham couplings’ three-piece design, comprised of two hubs and a floating-disc center, accommodate large amounts of parallel misalignment with light bearing loads or small amounts of angular misalignment and axial motion.

The center disc comes in acetal for high torsional stiffness or nylon for shock absorption and vibration dampening. The low-cost couplings feature electrical isolation and mechanical fuse properties. Available in seven sizes of setscrew or clamp-style hubs with bores from 1/8 to 1 in. (3 to 25 mm). The hubs are anodized for improved lubricity and increased life.
