    PLM Appliances are a family of preconfigured PLM software, service, and hardware bundles that make PLM easier use.

    Each Appliance includes UGS' Teamcenter software built on the Microsoft Windows Server System running on HP ProLiant servers, or HP-UX running on HP 9000 servers along with HP OpenView software, storage, and networking switches. Three different Appliance configurations support different business processes. Each accommodates environments that range from 25 to 1,000 users. Appliances reduce costs and time to value through rapid, consistent deployment while maintaining high system availability and security as well as broad adaptability to varied customer environments.
