The 1430 Top Loader features Pelican's Protector Case plus nearly 1,100 cubic inches of usable storage space and will feature a unique top loading design with a rubber over-molded handle for easy transport. The case will also be available with optional features such as a shoulder strap, lid organizer, "mobile office" file holder kit and padded dividers for photography and computer equipment. Optional accessories such as Pick 'N' Pluck foam, canoe attachment brackets and TSA-Accepted PeliLocks are also available.
The 1430 Top Loader's engineering-grade polymer, cell-core construction helps it protect sensitive equipment under extreme conditions. Additional standard features include a lid equipped with a polymer o-ring for a dust and waterproof seal, dual action latches that have been tested to a failure threshold of nearly 400 pounds (but open with a light pull), and a pressure-balancing, moisture fighting, automatic Gore-Tex purge valve.
