RM-Holz Fabric Expansion Joints withstand 300 to 2,000°F operating temperatures. They are for tough air and gas-handling applications that see high acid concentrations, ammonia slip, ash accumulation, or large pipe and duct movements. They employ a variety of sealing technologies along with thermal-management materials to create a flexible, cost-effective expansion joint with a long service life. They can be made from neoprene, chlorobutyl, EPDM, FKM, and PTFE reinforced with alloy wire, fiberglass, aramid, polyester, or flame-retardant meta-aramids in either knitted or woven constructions. Insulation materials include coated fabrics, needled fiberglass, silica, and ceramic blankets. The joints can serve in wet or dry environments and come in flanged or belt configurations.
