I/Oassistant software V3.0 configuration tool is used to field designs with the company’s BL20 and BL67 I/O modules. It verifies I/O arrangements, makes suggestions based on power consumption and part compatibility, and lets users create a documentation set, including photos of the station, settable parameters, dimensions of the station for mounting, and a complete bill of materials. It also generates a fieldbus I/O map for reference.
For commissioning and troubleshooting hardware, users import the hardware node or add each module separately. A maintenance port connects to a computer via RS-232, or it can be connected using Ethernet. The system can then read inputs, write outputs, read diagnostics, and read/change parameters.
