Feed-through filters Motor-line feed-through filters (MLFT) provide EMI protection for dc motor and other low-voltage applications and offer significant insertion loss to pass global conductive and radiated EMC tests such as CISPR 25. These filters can be engineered into existing mechanical packages. Applications include communication equipment, industrial process controls, medical equipment, cable telemetry, military equipment, and wireless devices. Standard MLFT part numbers include filters with single and dual lines, stamped and threaded housings, and Faston and round-lead terminals, with capacitance values to 0.18 μF and up to 100-V ratings. Custom mechanical packages are available, as well as higher capacitance values, and transient voltage and surge protection
