A pair of autoranging 4,000-count digital multimeters have 3 3/4 -digit displays that measure ac and dc voltages from 100 µ V to 1 kV, currents from µ400 A to 10 A, and resistance from 0.1Ω to 40 ΩM . Models 6100 and 6300 also measure duty cycle, frequency, capacitance; check diodes; and test transistors. Both units have “Smart Jacks” that light to indicate the proper input. A warning buzzer and flashing input jacks warn of current overloads or incorrect inputs. In the event of overload, protection fuses may be reset without opening the meter case. The Model 6300 includes measurements for light-level, sound level, relative humidity, and temperature.
