The SMPM microminiature RF connectors are said to offer the same performance and convenience as SMP connectors, but in a form factor that is 30% smaller. The 50-ohm connectors have a center-to-center spacing of 0.135 in., with low VSWR through 40 GHz. The connectors come with either a smooth bore or fully detented interface that provides insertion forces of either 2.5 or 4.5 lb. The interface design complies with MILSTD- 348A. They’re designed to work with 0.047-in. semirigid and T-flex 405 cable as well as accommodate radial and axial misalignments of 0.010 in.
