The Pacesetter Models 2994 and 2998 are three-phase ac-motor speed controls designed to drive 230-Vac, 50 or 60-Hz, inverter-duty, three-phase gearmotors and motors ranging from / to 1 hp. The controls operate from a single-phase 115 or 208/230-Vac line voltage.

Housed in a NEMA-4X/ IP65-rated enclosure, Model 2994 is for industrial or food-processing conveyor systems, feeders, and pumps, as well as outdoor applications. Features include a multifunction keypad, a four-digit display showing frequency, voltage, motor current, and motor speed, six LED indicators showing control status and operating mode, and a front-panel on/off switch and speed potentiometer. Advanced protection features include motor overload with RMS current limit, short circuits, and ac inrush at startup.

Model 2998, housed in a NEMA-1/IP40 enclosure is designed for applications that don’t require extensive features, such as packaging equipment and conveyor systems.
