The Bassoon servodrive/ controller with absolute encoder delivers up to 19 kW of continuous and 3.8 kW of peak power for ac brushless, dc brushed, and linear motors.

The ultrahigh power-density drive can function as a fully digital position, velocity, or current-mode amplifier; a network drive in distributed motion systems using the CANOpen interface; or a stand-alone motion controller for single-axis servocontrol. The Bassoon features SimpllQ core motion-control technology that provides advanced programming capabilities, a rich set of feedbacks, versatile power capabilities, and communication support.
