Profibus-DP joins DeviceNet, CANopen, and ModBus/RS-485 as fourth communication option for the SMVector drive

Profibus-DP joins DeviceNet, CANopen, and ModBus/RS-485 as the fourth communication option for the SMVector drive. According to company officials, the pop-in modules can be factory installed or simply inserted into an already existing SMVector drive. Profibus lets devices talk to upstream as well as downstream devices, to improve message transmission and reduce physical installation needs.
