The HS-225GC multiaxis grinding center with a 12-pocket automatic toolchanger is designed for applications with complex parts requiring multiple wheel packs or multiple machining processes, including grinding, milling, drilling, and probing.

Options such as wheel truing devices and spindle motors let the center use a variety of wheels, including electroplated CBN (EPCBN), vitrified CBN, or conventional grinding wheels.

The machine is available in four, five, or six-axis configurations and has a GE Fanuc 160iM CNC control system, drives, and servomotors.The grinding spindle, with an HSK-100 interface, operates to 50 hp (continuous-duty) and 4,000 to 8,000 rpm.
