A line of stainless-steel worm, helicalworm, and helical-bevel gear reducers and ratio multipliers feature a smooth surface finish for easy-to-clean sanitary operations.

Worm reducers, with a 316 stainless- steel housing and covers and 303 stainless-steel output shaft, are cut, heat treated, ground, and polished for quiet operation. The lubed-forlife units eliminate oil changes and feature double-lip Viton seals for use in harsh environments. Sizes sizes with ratings to 17 hp are available. Single and double-reduction units with ratios from 5:1 to 3,600:1 are also available. An Enviroseal pressure-compensating system makes the reducer vent-free and “sealed for life.”

Stainless-steel double-reduction helical in-line and triple reduction helical-bevel gear reducers are 93 to 97% efficient with ratios up to 138:1 and ratings to 18 hp. The units can be combined with a Washguard allstainless motor for a complete powertransmission package.

Stainless-steel ratio multipliers, with ratings to 4.7 hp and ratios from 2:1 to 7.5:1, have helical gearing. The unit can be used as a stand-alone single-reduction in-line reducer or as a bolt-on to the input of a C-faced gear reducer to multiply overall ratio reduction.
