The Handi-Weld urethane belt-welding kit lets users make their own belts using the company’s round or flat Pyrathane polyurethane extrusions. The kit welds 1/16 to ¾-in.-diameter round cords. An optional adapter is available to weld flat extrusion from 1/32 to 3/16-in. thick, and up to 2-in. wide.
The kit contains welding fixture with handles; 110-V, 40-W heat wand (also available in 220-V); TFE-coated welding tip; heat-wand stand; cord cutoff tool; flush-cut trim tool; instructions; and carrying case.
