Miniature drive-belt system - The Precision Alliance
NBK’s Excel-A-Belt miniature drive-belt system features an arched tooth profile with zero backlash for quieter and longer-running operation. Additional benefits of the profile include high-accuracy positioning, as well as precise rotation transmission — the rolling action between the belt and specially formed drive sprocket. The belt tooth enters and leaves the sprocket in a rocking motion, which reduces wear and contaminants from belt or sprocket-tooth abrasion.Bore sizes of the drive sprockets range from 3 to 25 mm and PD’s of 17 to 54 mm and come standard for shaft clamping. Available in four belt widths — 3, 4, 6, and 9 mm — the Excel-A-Belt is suited for use with 10 to 1,000-W motors. The Precision Alliance, 4215 Pleasant Rd., Fort Mill, SC 29708, (803) 396-5544, www.tpa-us.com
