The Pacesetter line now includes over twenty new 230 to 460-Vac, variable speed, three-phase gearmotors and motors. The 34R and 42R frame motors have dual voltage windings and inverter-duty ratings. When used with an ac speed control (inverter), the motors have a 120 to 3,650 rpm speed range; 281-oz-in. (2-Nm) maximum torque, and are rated from ¼ to 3/8 hp. The motors can be matched with type E, F, and 5N gearheads. Types E and F are parallel-shaft designs, with 5:1 to 300:1 gear ratios; 25 to 341 lb-in. rated torque, and up to 3/8 hp. The 5N-type right-angle gearhead has 5:1 to 75:1 gear ratios; 54 to 116-lb-in. rated torque range, and up to 3/8 hp. Larger 48R dual-voltage motors and gearmotors up to ¾ hp are also available.

Pacesetter motors and gearmotors feature a five-stage insulation system that protects the motor from potential spikes or corona damage caused by the inverter.
