New Products: Magnetoresistive Encoder

July 21, 2009
MR2 magnetoresistive encoder delivers accurate positioning at a controlled speed with factory-programmable resolution from 4 to 512 lines in discrete steps

The MR2 magnetoresistive encoder delivers accurate positioning at a controlled speed with factory-programmable resolution from 4 to 512 lines in discrete steps. Regardless of the desired resolution, the MR2 encoder package remains the same with a simple factory programming adjustment.

Significantly reduced jitter provides cleaner signals resulting in faster signal processing with improved positioning and speed control. MR2 encoders are compatible with various brush-dc, brushless-slotless-dc, and brushless-slotted-dc motors.
