New Products: Flow Transmitter

July 30, 2009
The MR flow transmitter combines state-of-the-art digital signal processing with the technology of a piston-type variable-area flowmeter.

The MR flow transmitter combines state-of-the-art digital signal processing with the technology of a piston-type variable-area flowmeter. The solid-state devices senses magnetic-piston-assembly movement and provides accurate, repeatable flow measurement. The device has no mechanical linkages.

The precalibrated unit can also be user configured for specific gravity, pressure and temperature for pneumatic systems when combined with user-selectable units of measure.

Benefited and features include noncontact sensor electronics; digital flow rate and total flow indication; proportional analog output; and low-power design allows for two-wire loop powered operation.

The transmitters provide 0 to 5 Vdc and 0 to 10 Vdc voltage and 4-to-20-ma current loop outputs.
