The self-adjusting cushioning PPS requires no manual intervention to adjust end-position cushioning, even with friction and pressure changes. This reduces acceleration forces acting on components and workpieces and cuts down wear and minimizes time-consuming vibration. The combination of three different bearing caps and four end caps gives the DSNU-PPS four different mounting options. This includes block-design end caps for direct mounting or with flange threads; end caps with threaded lugs and swivel bearings, with air supply connections that are lateral; or in-line with the cylinder axis.
