The Posital Optocode Series of absolute encoders are now available as a safety version. The encoders comply with the new Machinery Directive by fulfilling the requirements of IEC 61508 and EN 62061.

The Posital Optocode Series of absolute encoders are now available as a safety version. The encoders comply with the new Machinery Directive by fulfilling the requirements of IEC 61508 and EN 62061. Operated with protective extra low voltage (PELV), the encoders are for use in drive technology, lift applications, mobile machines, construction machinery, and machine tools.
