V180-2 cylindrical photoelectric sensors are designed for product detection and machine positioning.

V180-2 cylindrical photoelectric sensors are designed for product detection and machine positioning. They are easily aligned and installed using a bright red sender LED. Indication LEDs mounted in translucent housing material allow for 360° visibility and indicate signal strength.
The sensors can handle processes in which objects must be detected at high speeds due to their 0.5-msec response time. They have complementary light and dark operate outputs and sensing ranges that include 100, 400, and 800 mm. The sensor’s flat, smooth lens reduces dust and dirt collection. A reflex version with a polarization filter offers results at 4 m in IP67 conditions, while the through-beam version has a 20-m range. The sensors come in pnp and npn versions with an industry-standard 2-m cable and M12 connectivity.
