Lean automation packs are fully integrated, preengineered component combinations consisting of an ac drive (inverter) or position control with a servodrive and motor. All packs contain a micro programmable controller, color operator interface terminal, software, programs for most commonly used functions, time-saving setup guide, power supply, cables, component, and specialized tool.

CXONE-Lite software package sets up the machine’s micro PLCs, operator interfaces, motion logic, and networks in a single platform. Key benefits include: Simple drag-and-drop setup, function block and device interface libraries cut programming time, simulates PLC-HMI interaction without hardware, and eliminates duplicate data entry.

Speed-control and position-control packs come in three sizes to meet machine requirements. Speed control packs with ac drives come in ¼, ½, 1-hp models. The 3G3MX2 ac drive offers high-performance speed control of any NEMA Class B induction motor, and moves high-torque loads from a standstill. A built-in “Safe Torque Off” function provides protection against Category 3 safety hazards without additional control hardware for the drive and motor.

Position-control packs with servodrives and motors come in 200, 400 and 750-W models. Built-in vibration damping shortens transit time and improves position accuracy.
