Crown gear drives provide directional motion in all types of power-transmission systems.

Crown gear drives provide directional motion in all types of power-transmission systems. The quiet-operating drives are sealed from contaminants and feature hardened Class 10 spiral-bevel gears that are permanently mounted to the nonmagnetic stainless-steel shafts with locking pins.

The drives are available in standard two and three-way models with 1:1 and 2:1 speed ratios with shaft diameter combinations of 3/8, ½, 5/8, and ¾ in. Precision-hardened and ground ball bearings provide smooth and quiet operation at speeds to 2,000 rpm.
