Spring-applied brakes - Ogura Industrial Corp.

Models MCNB 2, 4, and 10 small spring-applied brake have been redesigned with a thinner profile

Models MCNB 2, 4, and 10 small spring-applied brake have been redesigned with a thinner profile — a 30% reduction in thickness. Advanced friction material let the brakes maintain the same torque rating, while eliminating the need for higher force springs and a correspondingly higher wattage coil. The brakes use less steel in the coil shell and less copper in the windings. The outside diameter on some models is slightly reduced, but all models have the same through-hole mounting dimensions, so brake models are interchangeable.
