WEG celebrates new headquarters

WEG Electric Corp., a supplier of motors, drives, controls, transformers, and generators, held an open house and celebration on April 16 for its new U.S. headquarters at 6655 Sugarloaf Parkway, Duluth, Ga. The new facility is 250,000 sq ft., twice the size of the original location. WEG has implemented environmentally friendly procedures, such as a recycling program, using green chemicals for cleaning, and eliminating Styrofoam cups. For more information, visit www.weg.net.

Bishop-Wisecarver announces video contest

Bishop-Wisecarver Corp., Pittsburg, Calif., announces a video contest in celebration of its 60th year anniversary. The company wants to discover who has the most creative application using DualVee guide wheels. All it takes to enter is a 60-sec video explanation of an innovative use of the wheels. Videos are to be submitted to the 2010 Creative DualVee Contest community page on YouTube by June 15.
