PTDA announces 2008 leadership

During the 2008 PTDA 2007 Industry Summit, held during October in Palm Desert, Calif., PTDA elected its 2008 Board of Directors and Manufacturer Council.

During the 2008 PTDA 2007 Industry Summit, held during October in Palm Desert, Calif., PTDA elected its 2008 Board of Directors and Manufacturer Council. John Masek will succeed Jeff Pickelman as PTDA president. Masek, vice president of Bearing Service Inc., Livonia, Mich., has been a PTDA board member since 2004 and has served as an industry champion and advisory committee chair for the Industrial Careers Pathway (ICP) program.

Joining Masek on the 2008 board are first vice president Drew Tucci, director of sales for Eastern Bearings Inc., second vice president Craig Faber, president of Miller Bearings Inc., and treasurer Don Latham, president of Belterra Inc. Directors include Larry Brand of IBT Inc., James Gibney of Warren M. Pike Assoc., Ron Herem of Baldwin Supply Co., Wayne Law of Motion Industries Inc., David Mayer of Kaman Industrial Technologies Corp., and Keith Nowak of MPT Drives Inc. Bob Ruland, president of Ruland Manufacturing Co. Inc., assumes the duties of PTDA Manufacturer Council chair in 2008. For more information, visit www.ptda.org.
