AMETEK acquires Dunkermotoren

AMETEK Inc., Berwyn, Pa., has acquired the parent company of Dunkermotoren GmbH, headquartered in Bonndorf, Germany. Dunkermotoren provides advanced motion control products for industrial automation applications, including factory equipment, office machines, medical devices, and laboratory equipment. In addition to Germany, Dunkermotoren has manufacturing operations in China and Serbia. The business joins AMETEK Precision Motion Control, a division of AMETEK’s Electromechanical Group (EMG). AMETEK EMG, with 2011 sales of $1.3 billion, provides technical motors and associated systems, electrical interconnects, and specialty metals. For more information, visit ametek.com.

Robin Lindorfer joins Wilbrecht LEDCO

Wilbrecht LEDCO Inc., St. Paul, a subsidiary of Microprecision Electronics SA, has appointed Robin Lindorfer as Switches and Foil Resistors Product Manager. Wilbrecht LEDCO focuses on products for demanding applications. Products incorporate rugged materials and have high resistance to environmental conditions, such as temperature, chemicals, or shock and vibrations. Lindorfer has 18 years of management experience in the manufacturing industry. She is a Six Sigma Green Belt and also has Project Management Certification.
