The Motor and Motion Association's (SMMA) 2005 Spring Management Conference, running May 4-6 at the Omni Tucson National Golf Resort and Spa in Tucson, Ariz., will discuss “Facing Tomorrow's Challenges Today.” Participants can attend presentations on the future of electric motor technology, creative healthcare options, sales channel changes, and economic forecast. Industry leaders will also serve on a panel previewing developments that will impact the motor and drives industry in the next five years. In addition, general management, manufacturing, and financial executives may attend a special workshop, “The Economics of Manufacturing in China” on May 4, featuring speaker Walt Benecki.
