Tipping gives easy access

The tip-up tail design on the 7400 series sanitary conveyor platform allows users to tip up the idle end or both pulley ends without using tools to create slack on the belt. Added slack improves cleaning access underneath the belt and conveyor frame.

This main-line production conveying system comes in widths from 6 to 60 in. and lengths to 99 ft. It features curves to fit any production environment for speeds to 200 fpm.

Designed for wash down and sanitary environments, the 7400 cleans quickly and is free of fasteners in the food zone. The frame is constructed of continuous TIG welded stainless steel, while bearings are made of 400-series stainless steel, filled with H1 FDA lubricant and mounted in cast stainless steel housings.

A guiding hand

Speedi-Roll linear guidance systems offer long strokes and high speeds in a lightweight, cam roller-type rail guide system for automation, pick-and-place, and robotics operations.

Featuring high load-carrying capacity, rigidity, and torque resistance, they operate effortlessly and quietly. Speeds to 10 m/sec can be achieved in three sizes — LLE 15, 25, and 35 — and many dimensions.

A machinable aluminum guide rail is fitted with hardened steel raceways, and an aluminum carriage incorporates four or six precision V-shaped steel rollers.

The rollers feature elastic elements around threaded bolts for mounting to the base plate. They are also lubricated for life, offering low friction and minimal power requirements.

Now dispensing

New series of gantry-cartesian dispensing robots features working areas to 32 × 24 in. and high speed movements to 800 mm/sec. Key operating specifications include resolution of 0.01 mm and repeatability of 0.02 mm.

For use with dispensing applications in automated manufacturing such as conveyor operations and work cells that require XYZ movement above the work, the 6000 series offers multiple I/O communications for machinery and conveyor integration.

Stepping-servo motors provide control of the three axes, which fully interpolate all axes and provide continuous path or point-to-point dispensing. Programming IS via an easy-to-learn teaching pendant with step-by-step instructions.

Seeking a new position

HD series linear positioners are easy to apply, install, and maintain for robust positioning applications. They feature a deep-channel extruded body and solid carriage for beam strength and carriage stiffness in cantilevered or other unsupported installations.

Self-lubricating components are designed for long life and come with IP30-rated belt seals to protect interior components from debris.

Options include screw lead, home and limit sensors, failsafe brakes, and motor orientation. System performance is provided via graphs for quick application without the need for complex motor sizing. Online 3D models provide quick and efficient machine integration.
