Confero Solutions, King of Prussia, Pa., is a recently established start-up company that is developing advanced precision sensing and motion solutions. Confero designs and builds custom precision sensing and motion systems for OEMs in industries such as semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, life sciences, machine tools, and metrology.

“Our mission is to provide leading edge solutions in the fields of optical sensing, motion control, and robotics, with highly engineered precision mechatronic and optotronic systems,” says David Beatson, company president.

Confero, (Latin for “to bring or put together”), takes a multi-disciplinary approach, teaming custom design, assemble, test, install, and support systems with pre-existing subsystems and/or emerging technologies, depending on the application requirements.

“We currently have two innovative integrated motion application projects underway that will be introduced next year,” says Beatson. “Additionally, in collaboration with several universities and affiliated companies, we are developing advanced solutions in the areas of remote sensing and optical metrology.”
