Capacitive sensors

Elite series non-contact sensors measure very small displacements of conductive materials with high resolution in precise positioning applications.

Features & benefits

  • 0.01 to 10 mm measuring ranges; 1 nm resolution

  • CPL190 and CPL290 capacitive sensors and MM190 meter/signal processing module

  • Differential analog signals to data acquisition system for high signal to noise ratio

  • Odd and even-numbered channels use inverted excitation signals to null ground current flow and eliminate noise and offset in differential measurements

Encoder position sensors

R-series sensors offer fast data processing and accurate sensing for servo control applications.

Features & benefits

  • Use Temposonics magnetostrictive technology and provide same absolute serial encoder interface as in CNCs and motion controls

  • Position sensing as low as 1 mm; resolution of 1 to 100 µm

  • SSI output has optional data update rate of 250 µsec synchronized with external clock, regardless of stroke, with as few as 16 µsec between measurement data clock cycles

  • Measurement non-linearity correction improves sensing accuracy to as low ±10 µm
