PLM conference features mechatronics track

June 22, 2010
As embedded systems and software become more widespread, the lines of separation are being blurred between Application Lifecycle Management and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

As embedded systems and software become more widespread, the lines of separation are being blurred between Application Lifecycle Management and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM). These issues will be addressed in detail at the annual PLM Road Map Conference, to be held September 28 to 29 in the Detroit Metro area.

The conference will bring together hundreds of industry participants to share their experiences in addressing strategic PLM topics. This year's event will feature a full track on mechatronics and the challenges of efficiently integrating software, electronics, and mechanical elements. A keynote presentation from Chris Davey of Ford Motor Company will cover the topic of "In-Vehicle Electrical and Software Management: Challenges and Opportunities."
