Save the Date: PTDA Spring Leaders Conference

The Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) will host its annual Spring Leaders Conference from March 21 to 23, 2013, in San Antonio. The conference agenda includes:

• Committee meetings for PTDA volunteers and elected directors
• A General Educational Session for all PTDA members
• The popular Leadership Development Conference, especially designed to prepare future company leaders

Featured in the General Educational Session is seasoned veteran Kevin Boyle, president of Industrial Distribution Consulting and a recognized expert in distributor and manufacturer business relationships. Boyle’s interactive program — Building Profitable Partnerships Between Distributors and Manufacturers Through Understanding — enables supply chain partners to explore the details of how to improve business through value-added programs and hot button issues. Randy Disharoon, an account manager with Rexnord Industries and former U.S. Navy nuclear engineer, will lead the day-long Leadership Development Conference. His program — Developing Leaders for What’s Next in the PT/MC Distribution Sales Channel — prepares up-and-coming leaders for changes in the marketplace, communications strategies, and the world of globalization. Targeted sessions, self-evaluations, and interactive exercises will teach participants to bring out the best leadership qualities in themselves and each other.
