Bearings for chemical environments

April 14, 2005
With over 100 grades available, Graphalloy self-lubricating bearings and bushings are designed for use in tough chemical environments such as sulfuric acid, molten metal, bleaching solutions, industrial solvents, paper-industry liquors, ammonia, and sodium hydroxide.

The bearings work in 40 to 1,000°F, temperatures where plastics fail, lubricated bearings and bushings seize due to lubrication loss, and corrosion damages traditional metal bearings, causing maintenance problems, production loss, and mechanical failure.
