Capacitance-To-Digital Converter

Feb. 8, 2007
The ultralow-power AD7150 capacitance-to-digital converter (CDC) is designed for highly sensitive proximity sensing.

The CDC offers features such as electromagnetic compatibility, adaptive environmental calibration, small size, and fast response time. The converter consumes just 90 A for a 70% power savings. The CDC's front-end architecture lets it tolerate input parasitic ground capacitance, leakage currents, and power-supply noise. On-chip adaptive environment calibration lets the device recalibrate and adapt to capacitance changes from shifts in environmental conditions.
